What a crazy week we had and it looks like this volatility is not going away until after the elections!
After raising interest rates to the 20 year high, the Fed is under enormous pressure to lower the rates, regardless of whether or not it reaches its current inflation target of 2% per year. Maybe focusing on how "great the economy is" is the card that the incumbents will play. If that's the case, we have a very bullish case on our hands.
The danger sings:
1. Gold broke out of the 12 year range
2. The current yield curve spread, based on the latest available data, remains at -0.374%. This negative spread further emphasizes the yield curve inversion scenario, where short-term interest rates are higher than the long-term rates, typically reflecting investor concerns about future economic growth.
This inversion can be a signal of economic caution or expectations of a slowdown.
In this environment sizing down and buying pullbacks to catch bigger moves has been working if you can be lightning fast.

The last 4 out of 5 pullbacks on the market lasted only one day. That how strong the market is. Now take any stock you are interested in and compare it to the market. If they are more than the general market and their industry peers, they are considered to be "relatively strong" and are the first stocks you look after like a hawk during pullbacks.
Apple broke through the critical $180 support and is on its way to $165 area.

This is our 4th and the last video that wraps up the ongoing review of all indexes and stocks on our Watch list. I am very grateful that the market got most active and interesting for the year the day I started my channel. I know the quality of the videos is rather poor, but the content was top!
I hope you are getting the idea that the basics are the key to success in trading, just like in any other profession. We operate in an unstructured environment and without putting in the structure ourselves we are doomed to failure. What is even less re-assuring is that if you do everything right, you may still never find a way to make money. And I'd take a guess that a person who i just described jumped into trading before learning the basics and will never become a success story. He will also never read this far. And if you are still reading this, you have a good chance to succeed, because all it take is time. If you are resisting investing your time to learn this now, you will pay dearly for it later. Remember - if you cannot make fake money (on a simulator), there is no way you can make the real money. Invest your capital in yourself and learn what you can before you jump in. The market will always be here.

The Dow did it in a BIG way! You must study this move to know for yourself that anything is possible in the market. We were negative for the year at the end of October and now All Time Highs!
Even though Nasdaq traded in its All Time High territory, it did not get a spectacular lift as the Dow, but it could be a matter of time.
The S&P 500 needs a little more work to get up there and
our sick man Russell 2000 is still sick sitting below its 52 weeks high. Yet, it is more that 20% off its lows of November.

Wow, what a month November 2023 was!!! 3 out of 4 major indexes we follow are eyeballing their All Time Highs set exactly 2 years ago.
Now it is time for our 1st monthly review:)))
After trapping all the bears at the end of October, the market destroyed them and gave no chance to cover. This is a great example of a short squeeze that caught many people of guard. But not you, because you did the work and you knew on what side the opportunities were. If you did't know, don't be so hard on yourself (even if you got smoked). In reality, no one knows were the markets are going tomorrow, next year or the next tent years. However, what we do know is where the Indexes and Stocks are coming from. We can also tell where the money is flowing. When operating in an unstructured environment like that you must have a winning methodology that will enable you to organize your thoughts, enable you to spot the opportunity and take advantage of it. Or, if things are not working, you should be able to save yourself and preserve your capital.
In this video we will:
1. Review, organize and improve your Watch list.
2. Analyze the Nasdaq, the Dow, the S&P 500 and the Russell to see if our ideas are in alignment with the markets or not.
3. Analyze Apple, Google Microsoft and Nvidia.

A note on running the channel- this is my first experience with getting my thoughts and processes out on video. It has proved to be 1,000,000 harder than I expected. My "zone of incompetency" is video editing and this 10 minute video took almost 36 hours to put together. I started at 4am on Saturday morning and it is 7:36 p.m. Sunday night. The sound is wrong because all the cuts made me sound like a machine and I was not able to go over all the stocks on our Watch list:(
It took a lot of patience and discipline to finish this video. And I finished this video because made a commitment to posting videos regardless of the fact that they are not up to standard I have in mind and they are surely far from perfect. I would say this one is a lot closer to being a sh!tty video than good one. Yet, the information i share is valuable and i know that whoever watches it carefully will benefit from it. I also know that the only way to get good at something is to keep on going when the going gets tough until one day you get really good at whatever you worked on for a while. This video was tough , definitely the toughest one to date and I know that I will thank myself 5 years from now. I actually already did:)

Both Apple and Meta took off straight from New Year's gate and have given us only one pullback this year. Even though that pullback lasted for 3 months, the reversal from November 1st was so fast that all the gains that shorts had, got wiped out in just 3 weeks. This is a great picture of what strong stock look like and how they move. Now only, if we could get just one more pullback...

This video is all about getting things done that you committed to do. Last night my old trusted 'Asus' slowed to the point where it took 6 seconds for a delete command to complete. Finally, after nothing changed at 6 am today I was forced to finally say enough and make a switch to the Mac I already had for 3 weeks. I expected for it to take weeks or months to transition and oh boy, was I wrong! Just after a 22 minute tutorial, I was racing through the edits, enjoying the new found speed for the project. I have completed this edit in half time using the Mac for the first time and proved to myself that making up excuses actually takes more time and energy then learning a new task. At the end, I spent 2 days to getting done instead of just a few hours. That is not "being flexible" for sure Oh well, I'm just a human, doing my best...

Now about the actual video- YFI's amazing run up followed by even more of spectacular drop on Saturday, was actually nothing unusual. In our video we plays a little detective game by first zoom out so we can see the Big picture and where areas of significance are. Then we go all the way down to smaller time frames, only to find out that this run up actually ends around one of those areas. And that by spending a little time and doing some searching you can make a very good guestimate that can serve you as a road map on high volatility trades.

We have 2 major wars in Ukraine and Israel plus over 30 minor ones around the world. The interest rates in the US hit a 20 year high, we are watching if the consumer spending will dip because of corporate layoffs. Yet, at the same time we have many all time and near all time highs. It seems like we hit a major Bear trap on the last trading day of last month, October and a broad rally began. The further up we go, the more nervous the shorts will get, causing vertical spikes up in prices when they cover their positions.
Regardless of all the negativity and the world going to h*ll in a basket, the markets have been climbing the wall of worry and doing it strong.

Stocks and markets can do anything at any time. In this video we take a look at our 3 favorites- AAPL, MSFT and NVDA. After making lower lows both AAPL and NVDA rallied for 2 weeks and made higher highs. MSFT closed at its All Time High. One thing that is clear- if you buy new highs in a volatile stock, you must take lots of pain until the next newer high sometime in the future. That is why buying on pullbacks is the way to win. Yes, you miss out on some opportunities, but you save a lot of nerves and brain cells if you chased them.

It is such a cool thing to look at JPM, a company ran by the same guy since before the financial crisis of 2009 and see how well they both have done. It seems like the algorithms are clearly in charge because last week APPL stock made a Lower Low and from there it rallied straight for 8 trading days to make a Higher High. And if they bought "value" last week, will they sell it up here or not?
As for me, my style is not aggressive, I'll wait here and see how big of a pullback we'll get on Apple's stock.
